Belconnen’s Biggest BBQ – Men and Meat – held the night before Father’s Day was a huge success. Over 50 men gathered to watch local butchers demonstrate their craft and then made donations to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia in return for a freshly cut steak of their choice.
Over $1000 was raised for cancer research, and many thanks go to our supporters: Gino from Eco Meats, Will from Ben’s All Meats, Tom’s Superfruit and Food Lovers at Belconnen Markets. Thanks also to Ross Blake from B32 Crossfit and Pete Hutchings who informed and inspired us on the night.
